Expecting Less than 50 guests?

If you have a smaller event, it may not be cost-effective to travel to your location to paint. ✈️

We would still love to paint personalized favors for your guests in advance (at a huge bulk discount), and ship them to you to distribute at your event!

FAQ's

Will the paint wash out?

No. Once properly heat-set—by tumble drying or ironing—the paint becomes permanent on most fabrics. We provide care instructions to ensure designs last.

Can I supply my own items?

Absolutely—just let us know what you have in mind so we can confirm they’re suitable for airbrushing.

How many items can one artist paint in an hour?

We estimate around 25–30 hats or 20–25 shirts/hoodies per artist per hour. This is a conservative figure; sometimes we can do more, but we prefer to underpromise and overdeliver.

Can you work outdoors?

Yes, as long as there’s adequate shelter (e.g., tent, pavilion) and access to electricity. Direct sunlight or gusty weather can affect the paint process, so we recommend an indoor or covered area.

Are the paints safe for kids?

Yes. We use water-based, non-toxic paints. They’re safe around children and dry quickly with minimal odor.

What if we want a design that’s not in your standard set?

We’re happy to create a custom design (including stencils and a practice run) for a flat $50 fee. Just share your idea or logo, and we’ll handle the rest.

What’s the minimum booking time?

We require a 2-hour minimum, at $300/hour per artist. Travel fees may apply if the event is over 50 miles from our Virginia base.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend at least 14 days to ensure we can secure any travel details and items.

Can you paint on non-fabric items, like mugs or shoes?

We specialize in fabric-based items (hats, shirts, hoodies, totes) for live events. If you have a special request (e.g., shoes, tumblers), contact us and we’ll see if it’s feasible with our setup.

Do we need special ventilation?

Typically, no. We use a small, quiet compressor and non-toxic paints. Standard indoor ventilation is sufficient—no large exhaust fans or special setups required.

How early do you arrive for setup?

We typically arrive 30–60 minutes before the start of the event to set up at no extra charge. If you need us there significantly earlier, we can discuss additional fees for extended standby time.

What if our event goes longer than planned?

If you’d like us to continue painting after the scheduled end time, we can offer overtime at $300/hour per artist, subject to availability. We’ll do our best to accommodate.

Do I have to confirm the number of items in advance?

A rough estimate of how many items you’d like helps us plan accordingly. We’ll discuss final quantities and can bring some extras, just in case!
